Saidika Organization envisions a future where survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) find safety and support through counseling, legal aid, and essential resources. We aim to be a catalyst for unity and progress, fostering communities that uplift each other and embrace resilience. Our ultimate goal is to weave a tapestry of hope, transforming lives, strengthening families, and guiding Kenya toward lasting prosperity.

Saidika Organization is a community-based initiative dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities through education, health, mentorship, climate action, and social impact projects.

We are based in Nairobi (Kibera), but we also run programs in other counties across Kenya:
Kajiado (Gataka): Mental health awareness programs and menstrual health projects.
Kisumu (Nyakacha): Community support programs, including initiatives that empower widows and vulnerable families.
Busia (Butula): Leadership coaching and community empowerment programs.
This wider reach allows us to extend our impact and tailor interventions to meet specific community needs.

Yes! We welcome both local and international volunteers to support teaching, mentorship, creative projects, climate initiatives, and community outreach.
Q: Do you partner with other organizations?
A: Absolutely. We collaborate with schools, community groups, faith-based institutions, and international partners to scale our programs and maximize impact.

You can support us through donations, partnerships, or volunteering. We also encourage sponsorships for specific projects such as menstrual health programs, school meals, climate action, and youth empowerment initiatives.

Dancan is an educator and community leader who founded the Saidika Organization in 2019. He guides the organization’s vision and strategic initiatives with a focus on equitable education and community empowerment. Dancan is a recognized leader in international programs and was honored with the Transformative Leadership Award for his innovative work.

Isaiah is an educator and faith leader with a passion for transforming lives through service. With a background in theology and biblical studies, he leads Saidika’s programs with a focus on education, inclusion, and spiritual growth. He is dedicated to empowering marginalized communities and nurturing young minds with values of integrity and compassion.

Sofia Nandika Ahuja

International Liaison Officer

Sofia is an advocate for inclusion, refugee rights, and gender equity. Currently pursuing a degree in Politics and International Relations, she brings a global perspective to her role. She is the founder of the “Menstrual Cups Project” and was a G7/G20 Youth Leader, contributing to policy proposals for women and refugees.

Salome is an accomplished educator who advocates for adult learning and community development, especially for out-of-school youth. With a master’s in education planning, she promotes Community Learning Centers and has been involved in key initiatives like the development of Nairobi as a Learning City with UNESCO.

Cultural Engagement and Global Advocacy

Raizel is an applied anthropologist from the Philippines with extensive experience in humanitarian and cultural advocacy. She is a consultant for UNICEF and founder of Anthro on Foot. She brings a deep understanding of community narratives and cross-cultural communication to help expand Saidika’s global engagement and advocacy programs.
